I would like to thank Shirley on behalf of all the Mum's in Shelf for her time and effort spent running the Shelf Rainbows. My two daughters Aimee and Ellie loved their time there on a Monday tea time. I often helped out and had so much admiration for the amount of work she put into each session. She often talked about her wish to retire from the job but the thought of letting any of the children down meant she continued as pack leader year in year out. The community of Shelf will not be the same without her.
