Did you watch the funeral of Whitney Houston? I thought I would watch it on CNN, just to see how different it would be from a funeral here. I wasn’t disappointed. The beautiful silver American casket took centre stage covered in white lilies. A fantastic gospel choir all dressed in white, lifted the mood, with some inspirational speakers, and solo artists who sang their hearts out. It was a true celebration to a great Diva, but at three and three quarter hours long, I can also say very long winded. ( I have sat through many a funeral service that has been getting to the hour and a half mark, but this over ran them all). At the end of the service the coffin was taken from the church with utmost precision and professionalism, followed by her mother and daughter.
I love inspirational quotes. They are powerful nuggets of wisdom condensed into just one or two lines, or a short sentence.
Since we returned to work after Christmas, we have been extremely busy (well for us anyway). Hence the reason that I haven’t been able to post many articles on the blog. Well now I’m back to it, and hopefully these will be returning on at least a weekly basis.
